The world of education and labor market is evolving at an accelerating pace. Therefore, at Vistula University we want to change the approach to education which is associated mainly with tedious “cramming”. Our main ambition is to introduce on a constant basis modern, student-friendly teaching methods, providing students with the tools for self-development and enabling them to build their self-awareness. Our goal is to make the graduates of Vistula ready to face their future with confidence. And even more, to shape their future.

Vistula University is the first private non-profit higher education institution established in Poland. UV has been steadily rising in the university rankings of Polish universities (currently no. 5 among private universities). Vistula is the national leader in the field of internationalization among all Polish Universities with 2784 foreign students out of 6372 in total.

The high quality of education and achievements of students and graduates of Vistula have been recognized by the Polish School Accreditation Commission. A wide range of academic programs are offered in bachelor`s, master`s and PhD levels. UV participates in global projects with socio-cultural, environmental, business and technological dimensions. UV received the highest rating, “A” , in the parametric evaluation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the category of small research units. Vistula also participated in the European Erasmus LLP and Gruntvig programs.

Vistula University brings together students from over 60 countries around the world. A mosaic of cultures and customs goes hand in hand with the high of level foreign language education and the possibility to participate in internships and scholarships abroad. The university cooperates with renowned foreign partner universities in the fields of education, research and the international exchange of staff and students.

The founders of our University are outstanding experts with a real impact in the economic and public spheres, in particular, Professor Krzysztof Rybiński – Vice-President of the National Bank of Poland, Professor Andrzej Olechowski – former Minister of Finance, as well as Foreign Minister , Professor Longin Pastusiak – NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Academy of Finance and Business Vistula closely cooperates with companies and willingly supports all initiatives of students in the field of business, which is different in the Polish education market. The university offers to applicants training in undergraduate, engineering and magistracy, as well as post-graduate training. The training is conducted in Polish, English, and also in English. Academy of Finance and Business Vistula has existed since 1992, together with the European Academy of Arts and the Warsaw School of Tourism and Recreation, the Vistula University Group.

Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the University of Vistula includes a huge academic building ─ one of the largest among Polish private universities. The total area of ​​the campus exceeds 25 thousand square meters. The building was specially designed for educational purposes: there are several auditoriums in which more than 2,000 students can listen at the same time; More than 40 rooms for practical classes; More than 10 computer laboratories. The premises are equipped in accordance with modern standards: auditoriums and halls are equipped with audio and video equipment, computers, there are points for connecting laptops, wireless Internet access is available. University students can use a huge library, also equipped with computer equipment, they have a gym, gym, ATM. The university renders help to newcomers in the selection of housing ─ as a rule, foreign students are accommodated in inexpensive rented apartments near the campus.
