Educational and Research Institute of Telecommunications and Information of the State University of Telecommunications is an educational, scientific and educational structural subdivision of the State University of Telecommunications. Integration of education with the production consists of several kinds of practices, starting from the second year of installation, technological, operational and undergraduate. The faculty has contracts in the practical training of students of Kiev city and Kiev region directorates, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava Directorate of the OJSC “Ukrtelecom”, the GE “Ukrainian mobile communication”, CC “Kyivstar GSM”, GE “Telecom LTD”, PC “Telecominvest”, etc.

Faculty trains bachelors and masters in “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering” in various specializations.
Among the activities of the students of the faculty – the structure and technology of transport networks and access networks, the design, operation and maintenance of modern communication systems, research and measurement lines, including optical fiber, construction and technical operation of modern mobile and wireless communications and digital television, radio and the methods of radio frequency management.
Training and research work at the Faculty is conducted by highly qualified specialists who have extensive research and profile teaching experience.
Faculty Laboratories equipped with modern telecommunication equipment, so students can get the knowledge and skills most relevant to future employers.
